(Saturday, January 20th, 1950 – page 6) After an altercation in Covent Garden tube station last Friday evening that resulted in the arrest of one man, Henry Foster, age 27 and of no fixed abode, the police are interested in talking to this unidentified man called a “psycho” by the detained man. Wielding what is described as a shotgun on leaving the station the police consider this man armed and dangerous. Other witnesses are also asked to step forward as Henry’s, what can be best described as ravings, are questionable as he was arrested without trousers… claiming “they took on a mind of their own”.
